Warranty Policy Agreement
Terms used: The Company refers to Orangewoods Limited. User or Customer refers to the Consumer. Product refers to the item or equipment purchased.
1. Warranty Overview
Orangewoods Limited is committed to providing high-quality consumer Technological products (solar, cctv, car tracker, apps, software) that meet your needs and expectations. This Warranty outlines our commitment to repair or
replace any defects in materials or workmanship that may arise during normal use of
your product within the specified warranty period of 1 (one) year. Upon purchase of any of our products, users have by means of this purchase agreed to this Warranty Policy Agreement. It is advised that prospective users (customers) read this policy before making purchase.
2. Warranty Coverage
This Warranty covers repairs or replacements for defects in the following consumer
products: solar inverters, solar charge controllers, solar panels, solar batteries, cctv dvrs, cctv cameras and car trackers. It is limited to the
original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
Warranty Period
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and is valid for a period of 1 year
from that date. The duration of the warranty period may vary depending on the specific
product, as detailed in the product’s documentation.
What Is Covered?
* Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
* Repair or replacement of the defective product or part.
* Any costs associated with labor and parts during the repair process.
What Is Not Covered?
* Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect.
* Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or accidental damage.
* Any unauthorized modifications or repairs made to the product.
* Damage caused by external factors such as fire, flood, thunder and lightning or other natural or man-made disasters.
* Loss of data or software due to product malfunction.
3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
1. Contact our Customer Service team at 09038895858 within the warranty period.
2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice, along with a detailed
description of the defect.
3. Our team will guide you through the process of returning the product for inspection
and repair or replacement.
4. Repair or Replacement
At our discretion, we will repair or replace the defective product or part with a new or refurbished product or part of equal or greater value within the warranty period at no extra cost. If the product is no longer available, we may offer a comparable replacement. The replacement or repaired product will continue to be covered under the original warranty period. Replacement will only be made at no extra cost to the user if there have been 5 major repairs within the warranty period, if the issue is company related or company negligence. If the issue or damage is as a result of user’s (customer’s) misuse of the product, replacement will be made at a cost of the current market price of the product by user. The user will bear the cost of repairs if the product was damaged by a misuse by the user within the warranty period.
5. Limitation of Liability
Orangewoods Limited is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from the use of the product. Our liability is limited to the cost of the
product and does not extend to any other losses.
6. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria,
and any disputes arising from this Warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of t h e c o u r t s of Nigeria.
